At Akimbo SoundLab we have devoted much of our time to the practice of mixing for film and video so that at each and every moment of a project, the viewer feels present within the story. Mixing is a language that enables a piece of media to communicate to the audience what is most important at each moment.
We have studied the great sound artists of film and music extensively so that our practice may aid your vision. We use state of the art tools and philosophical techniques to achieve the most thought provoking results.

Interstellar Noise and Ambient Music
At Akimbo SoundLab we don’t just specialize in conventional composing practices, we also create ambient soundscapes for projects that require more subtle musical accompaniment. The creation of musical environments and landscapes is a central practice for the SoundLab.
